The Beginning

MTS began as a single Gold Shop started by “Ngwe Yong Hong” and “Yoo Hong” with its founder Mrs. Ampaiwan Hiranyasiri.

The 1st Branch in Thailand

The original store name was changed and to Mae Thong Suk Gold Department Store; also known as ‘MTS Gold’.  Our first branch was and is still located on Wongwian Yai Road. We continue to expand our branches.

The 2nd Branch in Thailand

MTS Gold opens its 2nd branch in Wongwian Yai to facilitate and accommodate more customers. We offered various kinds of amulet frames as well as a customisable service under the name Mae Thong Suk Krob Pra.

The 3rd Branch in Thailand

A third branch opens in The Old Siam Plaza on Phahurat Road. It is still at present, a wholesale service provider for gold jewelry to gold shops all across Thailand. We continue to provide a retail service of both 96.5% and 99.99% gold jewelry and gold bars.

The Wholesaler for Gold shops

A subsidiary company was established under the name of ‘MTS Gold Smith Co., Ltd.’. It is a major gold jewelry wholesaler for gold shops all across Thailand. With more than 2,000 designs, we reinforce our standing and integration business in the gold industry.

The 4th Branch in Thailand

A new MTS Gold Shop (Pinklao Branch) located conveniently in Central Plaza, offers gold trading services that support a wide range of customers. Our branch is fully equipped to handle most customer requests. Our products and services continue to be well received by customers.

Begun Import and Export

Became the country’s major importer and exporter of 99.99% gold under the name MTS Gold Mae Thong Suk Co., Ltd. (MTS Gold). Apart from gold we have also become a major importer of pure silver, distributing to various Silver Jewelry manufacturers in Thailand.

Gold Futures Trading was Born

Established a new company in the name of MTS Gold Futures Co., Ltd.. We are the leading derivatives Gold Futures, Gold Online Futures, trading broker in Thailand and globally. We are one of the pioneer companies that helped push and supported futures trading in the Thai Futures Exchange (TFEX).

Expansion of Gold Futures

MTS Gold Futures Co., Ltd. appointed selling agents in more than 10 provinces and major cities throughout Thailand.

MTS Gold Futures Co., Ltd. had a stake in the Gold Futures market of the Thai Futures Exchange. From 2010 to 2011, total trading volume had spiked up to more than 5 million contracts. It received the Best Securities Company Award from The Stock Exchange of Thailand, 2 years in a row.
